I don't think the lift off ever gets old. I remember in elementary, middle, and high school, our teachers would always allow us to go outside to see the shuttle launch. This is a historical moment as well. Atlantis will only have 8 more flights after today. It is scheduled to retire in September 2010. Then NASA will be building a new Rocket for its space flights.
