This past weekend was a lot of fun. Not a real busy one, but memory making fun. Saturday morning we had a family photo session with the family. My mom was given a free photo session as a gift. It was fun, and cohen did so good, especially with only having a 15 minute nap. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Then Saturday afternoon, two of my girl friends and I went to take some pictures for our men. We had a lot of fun and got some really good shot. After that, we all headed out to this new restaurant TJ's Seafood Shack. I highly recommend it.

Well, here are a couple pics from Sat...

Monday: This Weeks Goal

Purge!

My goal this week is to go throughout the house and try to get rid of as much stuff as I can. Every few months we give away a bunch of stuff to the good will. And now since we are trying to sell our house soon, I want to clear out as much excess as I can.

Let's see how much I can get done.

Pose

My little (big) brother has just joined the US Army. I am super proud of him, but I will miss him tremendously. He is leaving the middle of February, so, for a nice surprise for my parents (and for myself), we took some photos yesterday for them. Here are just a couple.

Happy Birthday Jason!

Yesterday was my husband Jason's 29th Birthday! So, I cooked him a yummy dinner thanks to The hyper homemaker. Stuffed Shells. yumm-o. Along with a salad. I also surprised him with our good friends Josh and Kelly joining us for all the excitement. It was a lot of fun. And we topped off dinner with my first from scratch Chocolate Cake. Here are some pics from our evening.

Our crazy yet fun weekend.

This weekend was our first busiest weekend of the year. The bible study we go to started up again after a month long break for the holidays. It was so good to get into the word again with our Christian friends. I'm really looking forward to our study of Philippians. I think it's something that's really going to be beneficial to me at this point in my life.

Saturday morning I had to make some of Cohen's baby food. I made apples, pears, and avocado. After that, when Jason got home from football we headed out to AJ's birthday Party.
(Cohen just stole the toy from AJ; already he's a bully)

This was our third 1st Birthday party of the year. Who would have thought, that at the age of 25 I'd be going to birthday parties for babies? lol. But they are fun, and I can't get enough of them.
(Hobson, Cohen, Isabella)
Then that evening, our friends George and Abigail invited us over for dinner. I had just found out that George was quite the cook, and was looking forward to our meal. I think I may have been a tad bit envious...a husband that cooks for his wife. One can only dream. J/K I love my husbands pasta.

(George, Abigail, Me(forgive me), Jason)

And this Sunday, was our usual day visiting Jason's parents. We tend to go over there every other Sunday after Church...and eat all their food while they play with the baby.

It was a lot of fun. A great start to the new year.

Hello to You!

In West Philadelphia, born and raised. On the playground was where I spent most of my days. Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool. And all shootin' some b-ball outsid... -er.

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to start this blog. And well that's my go to song if any word or scenario triggers the memory. I think my husband would rather that song be permanently erased from my memory.

This blog is for our friends and family to be able to keep up with us. A Florida girl who married a New York transplant, whom are (mainly me, Melisa) trying to find their passions in life while raising a baby, living green, remodeling their first home, all while following the path set before us by Jesus Christ.

Follow us as we journey through our lives.
