He is Risen!

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend. It was filled with an Easter Egg Hunt and lots of family time. I didn't get to do all that I wanted with the kids. But maybe it was better that way.

Cohen had a blast at the Easter Egg Hunt. I went over what he was suppose to do and he understood the activity better than I thought. It's amazing just what one year will do.

Cohen (and the other kids) made out this year. There were 2500 eggs and not as many kids to hunt for them. So, saying Cohen made out, is an understatement. Our children's director made it extra special too. There were golden eggs hidden all around with money inside! I wasn't sure if Cohen liked the money more or the candy. But now I need to get him a piggy bank.

Avery didn't participate in the hunt. But we wanted her to enjoy some of the reward. The eggs. Not the candy. Or money.

She had fun with the eggs at first. But then she found the grass. This was her first time sitting/playing in grass. We don't have much of it at our house. And like any other baby the grass went straight to her mouth.

After church that morning we had both of our parents over for a late lunch/early dinner. This is the only decent picture of us on Easter. Not great, but I'm glad we have a picture.

And Cohen was being really sweet with Avery. I love their relationship and look forward to seeing it grow.
