This past weekend Jay was gone for nearly 4 days. It was going to be the first time I was alone with the kids for an extended period of time. I was not looking forward to it. But we survived. And it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it may get (I tend to be quite short on patience lately, I blame it on bad sleep patterns). Though I don't look forward to having to do this again.
