Arrrgh Matey! Halloween weekend was pretty busy for us. Friday night we headed out to our Church's Fall Festival. We all went as pirates! I thought it would be fun to have a family theme again. We figured since we won't always be able to do a family theme, we might as well take advantage of it while we can. A lot of the stuff we already had, I just went to the thrift store to get things to add to the whole effect, except for Cohen's costume, which was all bought from the thrift store. It was a really fun night. Cohen spent most of the night in the bounce house, but we did manage to get him our for a little bit to play some games.
Saturday I got a much a needed hair cut. And that evening my parents put on a BBQ for friends and family to be able to see Mike. He goes back Wednesday. It's been way to fast and short. We will be doing a lot of praying, more so than usual, until we know he is back on US soil again.
Sunday my bro came over to hang out. We were going to go trick or treating with Cohen downtown, but when his apple came back up, we decided it may be better to stay home and see how he was doing. We then watched Sherlock Holmes and around 7, Cohen was doing much better, and we wished we had gone out, because by then we didn't feel like it. Oh well, next year, when there's two running around, I'm sure it will be a lot more fun.
